Worship

The message of God in Jesus Christ is one message and it is shared here at Lord of Life in many styles of worship:

Joy & Celebration Contemporary Worship

Saturday Evenings, 5:30 p.m.
This service is lead by a band including guitars, percussion, piano, violin, mandolin, and vocalists. Our director, Tony Del Grosso and accompanist, Jim Selke are on staff, with the rest of the band members coming as volunteers who love to praise and worship God through music. In addition to the music, we pray, read from the Bible, and proclaim the message of God through the sermon, prayers, and Holy Communion.

Traditional Worship

Summer Sunday Services, 9:30 a.m.
(8:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. worship times resume after Labor Day)
This service is framed by Lutheran liturgy and hymns and focuses on God’s Good News for us. Holy Communion is shared at all services and visitors and guests are welcome to receive the sacrament with us. Children are a central part of our worshipping community and families are encouraged to worship together. Nursery care for children 5 years old and under is available on Sunday mornings should parents need it.

Healing Service

This is a reflective, prayerful service that centers on the source of all healing: God in Jesus Christ. During the time of anointing with oil worshippers are welcome to come forward to the altar for prayer and anointing or they may remain in their seats for private prayer. The service lasts about 30-40 minutes.

New Member Class

New member classes are offering three times each year: following Christmas (Jan-Feb), following Easter (April-May), and after school begins (Sept-Oct). People interested in learning more about Christianity, the Lutheran tradition, and Lord of Life Church are invited to gather. The Classes are offered in a 4-session/4 week format. The next class will be held in Fall '10.
