About Lord of Life

What We Believe

As a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we confess our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We see the Bible as God’s Word to us, good news in a broken world. We encourage you to visit the ELCA website where you can explore many questions of the Christian faith and Lutheran tradition.

How We Are Unique

Lord of Life is service oriented and active in community needs. We value families and children, and encourage all people to grow spiritually. We all have gifts to give. Jesus lived his teachings and embodied love. Jesus continues to invite people to follow him, to become his students and to invest time learning to apply his teachings at all ages.

Guiding Bible Verse

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded. And lo, remember that I am with you unto the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20
